  • Day 1 : Day 1: My Islander Bae
    Welcome aboard, Vibrators! Today is the first day of the best three weeks of your life! Auckland’s great and all, but you didn’t fly all this way to hang out in the big smoke. This morning, we’ll head north up to the incredible Bay of Islands and, in particular, the beautiful sunny town of Paihia. For those of you wanting to learn about modern-day New Zealand’s history and founding, as well as a Maori cultural demonstration, you’ll have the option of a guided tour through the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Tonight, we’ll cook a classic Kiwi barbeque and get to know each other over a drink or five!

    Day 2 : Day 2: Coro Gold
    Rise and shine, Vibertrons! There’s still a whole heap of NZ to explore so today we head towards the golden shores of the Coromandel Peninsula! After a quick lunch stop in Thames, it’s off to famous Cathedral Cove (where they filmed Narnia and other Hollywood films). After that, it’s time to brush the sand off and head inland to Coroglen and our accommodation for the night!

    Day 3 : Day 3: The Mount
    Mount Maunganui is one of New Zealand’s most popular summer hotspots and today we’ll be heading for this paradise ourselves! On the way, we’ll stop to stretch our legs in the summer beach town of Whangamata. Once in ‘The Mount’, the afternoon in yours to explore. Our guides will be leading a walk up the big hill, but if lying on the beach all arvo sounds more like you then lie away!

    Day 4 : Day 4: Hobbits and Roto-vegas
    One of the key reasons tourists travel all this way is to see Sir Peter Jackson’s famous ‘Lord of the Rings’ movie set – Hobbiton. This morning, this optional activity will be available for those with the budget and the desire. After lunch, we make our way to New Zealand’s adventure capital, Rotorua, for an optional Maori Village tour and demonstration at Whakarewarewa. Don’t blow all your spending money though, tomorrow’s going to be a biggy!

    Day 5 : Day 5: Rotorua 2.0
    With far more to do than you can fit in just one day, we’re staying an extra night in Rotorua tonight and you know what? We’ve decided to give you the entire day free! With plenty of optional paid activities on offer all around the city, there’ll be plenty to keep you and your new mates busy. Whether you're an adrenaline junkie and want to tackle the world's highest commercially rafted waterfall, or zip lining through breathtaking natural forests sounds more like you, we’ll be sure to offer you all the best experiences based on what you’re looking for.

    Day 6 : Day 6: The Great Lake
    OK, after two nights in Rotorua we’re off! This time to stunning Lake Taupo, but not before stopping in at the breathtaking Huka Falls. Here, 200,000 litres per second of crystal clear water flows from the great lake into the start of New Zealand’s longest river - the Waikato River. Once in Taupo, optional paid activities like bungee jumping, skydiving, sailing or jet boat riding are on offer, or simply ask your tour guide who'll point you towards some of Taupo's lesser known gems or the many free activities available. That night, our awesome accomodation puts on a spread and drinks for us! After that, well... Time to see what the Taupo nightlife has to offer.

    Day 7 : Day 7: South to the Capital
    Feeling dusty after last night? Don’t worry, we’re going to get a few miles under our belt today. Heading south from Taupo, we’ll stop in at the home of New Zealand’s army base to stretch our legs and have some lunch. From there, we trek on to the nation’s capital - Wellington! Once in ‘Welly’, we’ll grab some dinner and hit the streets of this incredible city on a local pub crawl. Doesn’t sound like your cup of tea? No problemo! The night is yours to explore what is often referred to as NZ’s coolest city.

    Day 8 : Day 8: Wellywood 2.0
    After breakfast, the day is yours! Get lost in Wellington. Visit a local cafe, take photos of the local street art, head along to New Zealand’s famous national museum - Te Papa (it’s FREE!), hell - spend the whole day hitting the bars if you want! As long as you’re on the bus tomorrow morning, today is completely up to you.

    Day 9 : Day 9: Kia Ora, Kaikoura!
    After more than a week in the North Island, it’s time to board the ferry and cross the Cook Strait for the South Island. Arriving in Picton through the stunning Marlborough Sounds, we'll set off along the east coast for Kaikoura. This beautiful seaside town is ‘world famous in NZ’ for its abundance of sea life sightseeing. Ever seen a seal colony in the wild before? Well, today you will! What about magnificent Spermies (Sperm Whales) feeding out from the coastline? We’ll try our luck with that too!

    Day 10 : Day 10: Home of the whales
    Today, we’re giving you the entire day FREE to check out all the things you may have missed yesterday! Wahoo! If you haven’t already, make sure you head into town to try the most delicious fresh crayfish in the world! Tonight, it’s time for you to reveal your hidden talents in our talent show. Get those vocal chords and weird toes ready!

    Day 11 : Day 11: Holy Hoki(tika) & Franz Josef!
    Regarded as one of the best scenic drives in New Zealand, today sees us travel from one coast to the other as we make our way towards beautiful Hokitika, and then on to Franz Josef for the night. On the way, we’ll stop in at Otira Viaduct lookout to take in the breathtaking views of Arthurs Pass and meet New Zealand’s cheekiest native bird, the famous Kea. Tonight, it’s time for a yummy home-cooked Kiwi dinner, made for you by our awesome guides. Following that, get ready for a drunken talent show! Start practicing your party tricks now.

    Day 12 : Day 12: Glacial Exploration
    Today you’ll get your chance to experience a real once-in-a-lifetime activity as we spend a second night in Franz Josef, home of the famous Franz Josef Glacier. It’s a free walk to check out the glacier, but if you’ve got a bit of extra spending money - optional paid activities like heli-tours and treks are also available for that unbeatable instagram shot of another world. After that, we’re off to Fox Glacier village to see our second glacier of the day before returning to Franz Josef for the night. Tonight, we take you on the most epic pub crawl through this beautiful winter town!

    Day 13 : Day 13: Queenstown #1
    John Travolta once said, “whenever I get stressed I just want to hop on a plane to Queenstown.” Often described as “other-worldly”, Queenstown really has to be seen to be believed and, with three nights in this incredible southern paradise, you’ll get your chance to do all the seeing you want. On the way down to Queenstown, we’ll visit the Blue Pools in Haast Pass, as well as stopping in at NZ’s famous Cardrona Bra Fence (where you ladies can add to the fence’s collection, if you've got one spare). Arriving late in the afternoon, we’ll check into our accommodation before heading to the world’s best burger joint: Fergburger. After that, the night is yours. Have some drinks at the Ice Bar, take a trip through the haunted house, or head back to our accommodation to rest up for the two more big days we spend in Queenstown.

    Day 14 : Day 14: Queenstown 2.0
    There’s only one thing better than waking up to a Saturday - and that’s waking up to a Saturday in stunning Queenstown! Today is your first of two completely FREE DAYS in this incredible wonderland. Spend it how you want; bungy jumping, skiing, snowboarding, skydiving, jet-boating… the list of bucket-list activities available in Queenstown is endless! Later tonight, we’ll let our hair down as we hit the town on a famous Queenstown pub crawl.

    Day 15 : Day 15: Queenstown 3.0
    Didn’t manage to do everything you wanted yesterday? No worries! Our last day in Queenstown, today is another entirely free day!If it’s more action-packed excitement you’re after, the town will be bustling as the weekend hits. If you’re needing a rest after last night’s antics, well that’s ‘sweet as’ too. Queenstown has an abundance of warm bars, restaurants and hide-outs where you can relax with a hot chocolate in front of a roaring fire.

    Day 16 : Day 16: Queenstown 4.0
    Today is our final day in Queenstown (boo!) Tomorrow we hit the road for MacKenzie Country!

    Day 17 : Day 17: This is MacKenzie Country
    It’s never fun saying “goodbye” to Queenstown, but today we pack our bags and set off for the turquoise lakes and snow capped peaks of Mackenzie Country. On the way, we’ll check out the historic gold mining village, Arrowtown where you can try your luck at panning for gold. After stopping for some lunch at Lake Pukaki, we'll continue on for that famous photo op at The Church of the Good Shepherd and Lake Tekapo. Then, it's on to Christchurch for the first of our two nights in 'The Garden City'. Dinner's on us tonight!

    Day 18 : Day 18: The Garden City
    Ravaged by 2011’s devastating earthquake, Christchurch the ‘Garden City’ has been in rebuild mode ever since, and is once again widely regarded as New Zealand’s most beautiful city. Following brekkie, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the city at your own pace, as our guides suggest an afternoon’s worth of activities (and bars) to keep you busy. As this will be our last night in the south, we’re expecting nothing to do be left on the table tonight!

    Day 19 : Day 19: Back to the North
    Today we say ‘Haere Rā’ (goodbye) to the South as an early start sees us head back up to Picton to catch the ferry back to the North Island. You’ll often hear Kiwis say “you can’t beat Wellington on a good day,” so let’s hope the weather Gods are smiling down on us as we arrive back in Wellington for our third night’s stay of the tour. Rest up (or not), tomorrow we venture north to the beautiful Taranaki region and its main city, New Plymouth.

    Day 20 : Day 20: Tara-dise!
    Taranaki locals are some of the proudest people in New Zealand - today you’ll see why. Departing from Wellington, we’ll head north towards the region, stopping in for some lunch in the ‘bread capital of New Zealand’ - the small coastal town of Manaia. After that, it’s on to tonight’s stop, New Plymouth city, where - after an epic Taranaki Wine Tasting (included) - we’ll make the most of our accommodations in-house bar to celebrate our second-to-last night together with a bang! Let’s hope your drinking shoes are still clean; you’ll be needing them tonight!

    Day 21 : Day 21: Riding the breaks
    Saying goodbye to the stunning Taranaki, we continue our adventure north to the world famous Glowworm Caves of Waitomo. Here you can take a tour into the awe-inspiring subterranean world which you just have to see to believe, with thousands of glow-worms lighting your way. If money's on your mind, don't worry; take advantage of the free Ruakuri walk, taking you through stunning native bush, limestone outcrops and natural caves. You won't be disappointed! From there it’s up to the popular surf town of Raglan, but not before making a quick stop in at the stunning Bridal Veil Falls. Tonight is our last night together, so let's make it a goodie! After the sun goes down, it's time for a famous Raglan 'Sunday Sesh'!

    Day 22 : Day 22: Home time
    Just because today is the last day of the tour, it doesn’t mean we’re slowing down. Raglan is home to some of New Zealand's best surf breaks, and those of you keen to 'give it a crack' will get the chance to, thanks to the awesome surf school at our accommodation. Fallen in LOVE with Raglan? Don't want to leave? Great, those 'Vibrators' that would prefer to stay a few extra days can do so at a discounted rate thanks to our epic accommodation provider. After lunch, the rest of us will head north to Auckland where we say our farewells… #sadface. Until next time, that is!
