New Zealand Maritime Museum,
175 Quay Street, Viaduct Harbour
Tours depart daily from the Viaduct Harbour in downtown Auckland City. The dolphins don’t wait around so we ask that all passengers please check in at New Zealand Maritime Museum no later than 20 minutes prior to departure. One of our friendly guides will then lead you on the short walk to board.
Year-round: 1:30 - 6:00pm
Peak Summer: 8:00am - 12:30pm & 1:30 - 6:00pm
Directions: Viaduct Harbour is located at the western end (left if you are facing the water) of Quay Street in downtown Auckland. Upon arrival, you will need to look out for the New Zealand Maritime Museum entrance to your right immediately after the large ‘KZ1’ yacht.
Things to bring: Warm clothes, shower-proof jacket, sun hat & sunscreen, camera, binoculars, personal medication (if required), and sea-sickness medication (should be taken prior to trip).
Available on board: We have a small range of snacks and food onboard, including water, juice, soft-drinks and beer & wine are available for purchase. Please do not bring your own alcohol on board.
Restrictions: Unfortunately this trip is not suitable for heavily pregnant women. There is also limited wheelchair access available on the boat, though we may be able to accommodate wheelchair bound people under certain circumstances. Anyone with physical disabilities that require human intervention must be accompanied by their caregivers/support people. Children under 5 years old are only suitable for the trip in reasonably calm conditions and only if closely supervised by a parent or caregiver.
