As the sun goes down, descent of the ancient fresh water boulder stream of Mt Karioi. Wrapped up in the latest canyoning suits, jump into the freshwater pools. Challenging yourself to climb and abseil the cascading waterfalls, all under the light of your head torch and guides’ instruction. Slowly the tiny and unique New Zealand glowworms will begin to radiate their luminescent light and accompany you on your adventure, completely surrounding you in their spectacular fairy light galaxies at the final waterfall.
