This is a bird roosting area and a dog exclusion zone applies at all time for parts of this reserve. Limited freedom camping is allowed in the carpark for self-contained motorhomes and caravans. Walkways from here go north to the Esplanade and Omokoroa Domain and south to Tinopai Drive.
