Murchison Motorhome Park
Murchison Motorhome Park was built and designed with the camping traveller in mind, it feautures a peaceful riverside setting. It is an ideal stop off point, between Abel Tasman and Picton to the West Coast and when travelling north from Franz Josef or the world famous Pancake Rocks at Punakaiki. And there’s way more to do in Murchison than an hour will allow. The area has world-class jetboating, amazing rafting, NZs longest Swingbridge, the wonder of the Natural Flames and easy access to two National Parks: the Kahurangi NP and the Nelson Lakes NP. The architecturally designed facilities are light and bright and a pleasure to use. The kitchen is inviting and features stainless steel sinks with a great view onto the surrounding hills above the river, cooking utensils including pots, frying pans, cups, plates and cutlery free to use. Fresh eggs and vegetables, which are grown on-site, are available.
