This is a river mouth environment nestled in a sheltered reserve near the Rakaia River and the sea. Sea fishing opportunities. Short term camping only. Well maintained reserve and playground, which includes a basketball hoop. Surfing opportunities near the mouth. If the conditions are right, then you can catch some short tubes created by the river exiting out to the sea.
