How it Works:

Make your way around the Jill Pass travel route in the time that suits you.
"Hop" off the bus anywhere at anytime, to stay longer, visit friends or even work for a while.
Then "hop" back on again by booking yourself back on the bus using the 'Stray Mate New Zealand' App (available in the App Store and on Google Play).

The buses run several times a week - If you are short on time, you don't have to ever "hop off" - you can also use your 'Jill' bus pass like a tour and complete the itinerary in its "Minimum Days". With this you will still enjoy outstanding locations and unique attractions around New Zealand, and we have included some non-travel days to break up your journey.

Itinerary Highlights:

Go swimming with Dolphins** or Whale watching** in the seaside town of Kaikoura.
Stay beachfront* on the golden sands at the edge of Abel Tasman National Park.
Overnight on the West Coast, surrounded by rain forest, and take a guided tour on the Franz Josef Glacier**.

The pass is valid for for travel for up to 12 months from the first date of travel.
Managing your pass: When you book, only your start date is confirmed. You will be sent a login to an 'online trip manager' where you can view, book, amend all additional travel days for your pass. You can change your start, however you must 'start' travel within 12 months of the original purchase date.
