DAY 1

Welcome to Queenstown! Pick up your EZI rental car (Toyota RAV4 4WD) and get ready to explore New Zealand’s adventure capital. Depending on what time you arrive, you have the day to get settled and check out your new surroundings. You’ll be staying at the cosy Sherwood Hotel, set on a hillside overlooking the stunning Lake Wakatipu and located just a 5 minute drive from the centre of Queenstown. Spend your $135 food and beverage voucher ($270 for two room option) at the hotel - from a la carte breakfast to dinner, there are plenty of tasty meal options to choose from.

DAY 2

This morning we recommend driving along the shores of Lake Wakatipu to Glenorchy - one of the most scenic journeys in the South Island, offering spectacular views of the mountain ranges. You’ll be hooked on the magic of this special place, a real life Middle-Earth with plenty of hiking trails and breathtaking viewpoints and photo spots. On your way back into Queenstown, stop off at Bobs Cove for another amazing native bush walk to crystal blue waters and views of snow capped peaks. No doubt you’ll have worked up an appetite after your first day of exploring but we’ve got you covered! Head to the Ballarat Trading Co. in town this evening and spend your $100 voucher towards a delicious dinner.

DAY 3

Today we recommend checking out one of Queenstown’s many vineyards to sample some of the finest wines in the Central Otago region. Then for the active souls amongst us, head into the centre and walk up Queenstown Hill or Bob’s Peak for some epic views over the lake. For those who prefer the views without the effort, you can catch the Skyline Gondola ($44pp) and treat yourself to a drink at the top whilst watching the sun go down. While you’re in the centre today, we highly recommend checking out some of the awesome local bars and restaurants and experiencing Queenstown’s electric nightlife scene.

DAY 4

One of the best parts about exploring Queenstown in the winter is the snow (as long as you’re rugged up and ready for it!). Take a drive to one of the local ski fields for a day on the slopes (prices vary) or perhaps just a cheeky glass of champagne at one of the mountain bars, for a little spot of winter indulgence. Back at the hotel, take advantage of the sensational massage treatments available and unwind after a few days of thrills. DAY 5

Today it’s time to drop off your EZI rental car and wave goodbye to Queenstown. Whether your journey takes you back home or onward to another awesome New Zealand destination - safe travels!
